Asthma Clinic

The clinic serves asthmatics of all ages and their family. It also sees babies and children with bronchiolitis or other respiratory health problems resembling asthma (allergies, allergic rhinitis, etc.).

The clinic provides education on asthma triggering factors and how to avoid them, prescribed medication and its use, signs that asthma is getting worse, and recognizing its seriousness. It also teaches people about using an action plan (adjusting treatment if the asthma worsens) and existing resources in the region, as well as doing spirometer (lung function) tests and respiratory assessments.

People may request services themselves if they have already been diagnosed with asthma or be referred by a health professional.
