Slowdown in Blood Collection Services at Lamèque Hospital and Community Health Centre

Lamèque, Tuesday, July 23, 2024 – The Vitalité Health Network is requesting that the population of Lamèque and surrounding areas reduce traffic to the Specimen Collection services (phlebotomy) services at the Lamèque Hospital and Community Health Centre.

We ask that those without appointments visit another hospital in the region, such as the Enfant-Jésus RHSJ† Hospital in Caraquet, the Tracadie Hospital, or the Chaleur Regional Hospital.

Individuals who arrive without an appointment may be redirected to another facility, asked to come back at a later date, or experience prolonged wait times.

The Network apologizes for any inconvenience this temporary situation may cause and thanks the population for their valuable cooperation.
