Board of Directors
The governance of the Network is the responsibility of the Board of Directors, which has 15 voting members (8 elected by the public and 7 appointed by the Minister of Health). The Board of Directors works closely with the Senior Management Team. Its role is to direct and manage the Network’s internal affairs and to execute all authority.
The primary role of the Board of Directors is to:
- Develop broad strategic directions and long-term business and health plans;
- Ensure the quality of care and services;
- Ensure effective and efficient use of human, physical, and financial resources.
