Construction work underway at main entrance of the Chaleur Regional Hospital

Vitalité Health Network, Monday, October 31, 2022 – Vitalité Health Network wishes to inform the public that the main entrance of the Chaleur Regional Hospital, in Bathurst, will be temporarily closed from November 1st to 18 inclusive, due to construction work.

During this time, patients and visitors will enter the facility through the Emergency Department entrance. A security officer will be on duty to ensure that patients requiring urgent care receive priority.

People who have non-urgent walk-in tests to do (e.g. blood work) are asked to avoid coming to the hospital during the construction period to make entering and exiting the hospital easier.

The Network regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks the public for their understanding.
