A record-setting quarter for medical recruitment

The first quarter of 2026 ended on an exceptional note for medical recruitment: 17 doctors joined the Network between January and March, with one single departure recorded during this period.

The medical recruitment and retention team conducted exploratory visits for prospective candidates and increased recruitment efforts across Canada.

Activities were held in Quebec City and Montreal for medical and pharmacy students. Exchanges also took place with residents from the Dieppe Family Medicine Unit, the Dalhousie Medicine program in Charlottetown, a program based in Kingston, Ontario, and the Rheumatology program at the Université de Sherbrooke.
