Our rising stars : Rebecca Brideau

Rebecca Brideau shines in her daily work at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, where she began her speech-language pathology career in August 2023. Although a relative newcomer to the field, she demonstrates remarkable clinical and leadership skills. Her enthusiasm and initiative have already led her to contribute to recruitment efforts.

Driven by a constant desire to learn, she continually enriches her practice, which includes a specialization in pediatric feeding and swallowing. Known for her great adaptability, Rebecca supports patients of all ages with a wide range of communication and swallowing needs.

Rebecca places great importance on compassionate communication with patients and their loved ones, so that they feel listened to, respected and fully involved in decisions related to their care. Her caring approach, passion and willingness to explore new fields of practice are inspiring.
