Visits temporarily suspended in certain units in Moncton, Bathurst and Edmundston

Vitalité Health Network, Monday, September 18, 2023 – Vitalité Health Network informs the public that visits are temporarily suspended:

• at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC, specifically in unit 4E, where orthopedic, otorhinolaryngology, and plastic surgery are located;
• in the rehabilitation unit on the 3^rd floor of the Edmundston Regional Hospital;
• at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, specifically in unit 3 West, where the surgical unit and part of extended care is provided.

The ban applies to general visitors. However, the presence of designated support persons remains possible.

This preventive measure was taken in response to a COVID-19 outbreak within the units. This ban on visits will remain in place until further notice.
