Measures taken to reduce overcrowding at Dr. Georges L. Dumont UHC and Stella Maris de Kent Hospital are still ongoing

Moncton, Friday April 9th, 2021 - Vitalité Health Network’s measures to reduce overcrowding at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre and Stella Maris de Kent Hospital are continuing until April 16th, 2021.

These measures are still in place:

• Admissions are strictly limited to cases absolutely requiring hospitalization and urgent surgeries only will be performed;
• All cases currently hospitalized will be reviewed to determine whether certain patients could safely be returned home or transferred to another care setting.
