Customized training for Network managers
Vitalité Health Network is making leadership and support for its managers a strategic priority.
This fall, a new customized training program was launched to better prepare them for their roles and help build strong, motivated, and engaged teams.
The first cohort of 90 managers began the program over the summer by completing a self-assessment and taking part in individual feedback sessions. This process helped them better understand their leadership style, the impact they have on those around them, and the areas they wish to develop both personally and professionally.
Offered across all zones of the Network, the first modules focused on self-awareness as a leader, agility, wellness, and resilience. The activities combine opportunities for reflection, practical tools, and discussions among managers who face similar challenges in the health care sector.
The program focuses on leadership, specifically managers’ ability to guide, listen to, and support their teams in an ever-changing health care system. It is grounded on a simple belief: leadership is developed through action, but also through self-reflection, learning, and continuous growth.
The program will continue over the next few months, allowing all managers to gradually take part. The second cohort will begin the program this fall, with training scheduled for January 2027.
