Physician recruitment: unprecedented results in 2025

The medical recruitment team had a successful year in 2025: 59 physicians hired versus 18 departures, for a net gain of 41. This result exceeds the annual target by 64% and represents the largest net gain in recent years.

Many initiatives were deployed to strengthen ties with learners, organize exploratory visits and participate in several events to promote practice opportunities in New Brunswick.

Fall 2025 also saw a significant increase in requests for information from out-of-province physicians. Against this backdrop, Vitalité Health Network has established itself as an employer of choice, particularly for physicians wishing to practise in a French-speaking environment, thanks in large part to the quality of life in New Brunswick and a human-scale practice model within supportive interdisciplinary teams.
