Supporting our managers in their leadership: teams get involved
Supporting our managers in their leadership is one of the Network's three strategic priorities. Over the past few months, the Engagement and Organizational Development team has finalized the development of a diagnostic leadership tool for managers.
Designed specifically for Vitalité Health Network, this tool reflects the leadership skills sought among the organization's leaders. An initial pilot phase involving 43 managers provided an opportunity to test the tool and confirm its relevance. At the same time, training was offered to members of the Engagement and Organizational Development, and Labour Relations teams to prepare them to support managers throughout the gradual rollout of the leadership strategy.
Despite the substantial work invested in developing and preparing the training and coaching program for managers, ongoing active support has been sustained. In recent months, multiple training courses have been offered, with more than 200 directors and managers having received change management training.
