Frontline heroes!
Frontline workers from several member organizations of the Greater Moncton Homelessness Steering Committee on Homelessness (GMHSC) were recognized for their efforts during the overdose crisis that affected the Greater Moncton community. This response required coordination among first responders and teams from Vitalité Health Network, Horizon Health Network, Ambulance New Brunswick, and several community partners.

Hemodialysis Unit at Tracadie Hospital: 20 years of care and services
Patients, families, and staff gathered to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Hemodialysis Unit at Tracadie Hospital. The event was particularly meaningful for the team, some of whose members have been with the unit since it opened. Among them was Carole Basque, a nurse manager who helped establish the unit and who continues to serve in that role today, having been involved in the care of Frank Dignard, one of the unit’s first patients, who remains in treatment there 20 years later.
