Visit Restrictions lifted at the Geriatric/Rehabilitation Unit of the Campbellton Regional Hospital

Campbellton, January 28, 2013 – The management of the Campbellton Regional Hospital would like to inform the public that visits have resumed at the Geriatric/Rehabilitation Unit of the Campbellton Regional Hospital.  Visits at the hospital facility’s Geriatric and Rehabilitation Unit had been suspended since January 14 because of the confirmed presence of the Norovirus bug.

However, people with gastroenteritis-like symptoms are asked to refrain from coming to the hospital to visit inpatients.

The management of the Campbellton Regional Hospital would like to thank the Restigouche population for its cooperation during this time.
