Visits Suspended on the 4th A at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre
Moncton, September 29, 2017 – The management of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre would like to inform the public that visits are temporarily suspended on the 4th A (General Surgery, Urology and Gynecology Unit).
This situation is due to a number of patients experiencing gastroenteritis symptoms on that unit. The suspension will remain in effect until further notice and only applies to the 4th A.
The management asks that people with symptoms of gastroenteritis avoid coming to the hospital to visit inpatients until at least 48 hours after their symptoms have disappeared.
