Visits suspended on the Geriatric Unit at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre

Moncton, Saturday, August 21, 2021 – Vitalité Health Network informs the public that visits are temporarily suspended on the Geriatric Unit (3 E) at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre.

This situation is due to a possible exposure to the COVID-19 virus on the unit.  The ban on visits will remain in effect until further notice. The Network reminds that the ban on visits to the Psychiatry Unit (4 B) announced on August 13 is still in effect.

All measures are implemented to ensure the safety of patients, visitors, employees and physicians of the facility. Vitalité Health Network apologizes for any inconvenience this situation may cause.
