Visits temporarily suspended at Chaleur Regional Hospital

Bathurst, September 4, 2015 – The management of Chaleur regional Hospital in Bathurst informs the public that visits are suspended at the General Medicine Unit (4 East).

This situation is due to confirmed C-Difficile cases among patients within the unit. The suspension will remain in effect until further notice.

However, visiting privileges will be allowed for the Palliative Care Unit, this for immediate family members only.

The management of Chaleur regional Hospital apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
