- Evaluating and negotiating budgets
- Making submissions to the Research Ethics Board
- Conducting clinical trials
- Maintaining regulatory compliance
- Providing liaison between proponents, researchers and the Research Ethics Board
- Supporting the training of researchers and their teams as needed
