Morocco–New Brunswick partnership: Strengthening training and recruitment in health care
Bathurst, Thursday, August 7, 2025 – Vitalité Health Network is proud to announce the signing of a major agreement with the Fédération marocaine de l’enseignement professionnel privé (FMEP).
This partnership, established for an initial period of five years, to strengthening collaboration in professional training, skills development, and support for Moroccan health care professionals.
“This agreement aims to build a bridge between professional training in Morocco and the workforce needs of New Brunswick's health care system,” emphasized Dr. France Desrosiers, President and CEO of Vitalité Health Network, in the presence of a Moroccan delegation currently on an official visit to New Brunswick.
One of the central goals of the agreement is to ensure better alignment between training programs offered in Morocco and the professional and regulatory standards in effect in Canada.
The Network is committed to contributing to the development of training by recommending adaptations to educational content, facilitating instructor exchanges, organizing joint workshops, and sharing educational tools that align with Canadian standards.
FMEP President Abdelilah Benhilal also welcomed the agreement: "We are delighted to open this new chapter of collaboration with Vitalité Health Network, offering our Moroccan graduates solid career prospects and a springboard towards international recognition of their skills."
Promoting career opportunities is an important part of the partnership. Graduates of FMEP institutions will have easier access to employment opportunities within the Network. They will receive a full range of support, including information sessions, language assistance, and help integrating into health care environments and the community. The Network will give special consideration to these candidates in its selection processes, recognizing the quality of their training.

Candidates will also be offered specific support in preparing for the NCLEX nursing entrance exam, including training, review, and simulation modules to maximize their chances of success.
“This innovative partnership goes far beyond recruitment. It represents a mutual and lasting commitment to training excellence, skills development, and successful human and professional integration,” said Allison White, Corporate Director of Nursing at Vitalité Health Network.
The agreement also outlines plans for the gradual expansion of the partnership to include other disciplines within the health care sector. A joint monitoring committee will oversee the ongoing evaluation of outcomes to further develop the collaboration as needed.

FMEP President Abdelilah Benhilal and Dr. France Desrosiers, President and CEO of Vitalité Health Network, signed the agreement.
