Our Name and Logo
The result of a competition launched in December 2009, the name "Vitalité" was submitted by Suzanne L. Robichaud of Dieppe: “Vitalité” [vitality] means being full of life, exhibiting vital energy, enjoying remarkable health and having the potential for longevity. The term “vitalité" reflects the health authority’s mission well. This word illustrates the health authority’s commitment to helping the people it serves lead healthy lives, by providing accessible, efficient, and quality health services to all.
The name "Vitalité" remains fitting and accurately reflects Vitalité Health Network's purpose: to foster the health of our patients and communities, today and tomorrow.
It conveys the passion and commitment of all stakeholders in advancing the health care system to ensure the quality and sustainability of its services for patients and communities.
The logo symbolizes the Network with several unique components united around a common goal: to promote and preserve the health and wellness of the population.
Circles of various sizes and colours express energy and a zest for life. They represent the people and the components of Vitalité Health Network, united in a spirit of community. The brand identity emphasizes the Network's unifying role.
Our typography is lively, cheerful and friendly. Our logo is inclusive, warm and emits positive energy.
