- Wants to work with staff and physicians to directly contribute to policies, programs and practices that affect patient care and services;
- Has a strong ability to reflect and share.
Why include a PEP?
A PEP can help you:
- Improve how your department operates;
- Evaluate a current process;
- Improve the quality and safety of the patient experience;
- Get the perspective of the patient and family;
- Implement a new process.
The personal health journeys of PEPs make them excellent resources to help us understand what matters most to patients and their families.
They may suggest simple solutions that have a big impact!
