A maternal health support tool to assist families during pregnancy and after birth
Vitalité Health Network, Monday, March 23, 2026 – Vitalité Health Network, in collaboration with Horizon Health Network and the Government of New Brunswick, is announcing the expansion of its partnership with SeamlessMD to offer an innovative digital support tool for pregnant individuals during pregnancy and the postnatal period.
This provincial initiative will provide patients with access to reliable educational resources, practical tools, and personalized support throughout their perinatal journey, from pregnancy through postpartum recovery at home. Accessible on a phone, tablet, or computer, SeamlessMD also allows patients to receive reminders for upcoming appointments, helping to ensure regular follow-up during pregnancy.
“Integrating SeamlessMD into the perinatal care pathway represents a significant step forward in modernizing how we support families,” said Chantalle Arsenault, Corporate Director of Mother-Child Services at Vitalité Health Network. “By combining digital tools, reliable clinical information, and proactive follow-up, this solution enables patients to be better informed, better prepared, and better supported. For health care professionals, it also helps standardize perinatal education and improve clinical follow-up.”

The platform also includes tools that allow patients to track their symptoms and recovery. When certain concerns are flagged, alerts can be sent to care teams to facilitate prompt follow-up and appropriate intervention.
The educational content available on the platform was developed in collaboration with clinical teams specializing in maternal and neonatal health to ensure that patients receive reliable information based on best practices. To register, patients will receive a registration code from their primary care provider or the team monitoring their pregnancy.
This initiative reflects Vitalité Health Network’s commitment to leveraging digital innovations to improve access to information and support early preventive interventions. It also aligns with the Network’s commitment to enhancing the patient experience, one of its three key directions.
