Temporary closure of the phlebotomy (blood collection) service at the St. Joseph Community Health Centre in Dalhousie

Vitalité Health Network wishes to advise the population of Dalhousie and surrounding areas that the phlebotomy service (where blood samples are taken) at the St. Joseph Community Health Centre in Dalhousie will be closed on Friday, December 5, 2025.
This temporary closure is due to a staffing shortage.We expect normal phlebotomy service operations to resume on Monday, December 8, 2025.

During this period, if your physician determines that you require a blood test that cannot wait until the service reopens, you will need to visit another location in the region.
