A new resource to support families, from pregnancy through the early years
Expecting or welcoming a new baby is an adventure full of questions, emotions and discoveries. To better support families every step of the way, Vitalité Health Network is launching a new web section devoted entirely to parents and their families.
Accessible to everyone, this resource brings together, in a single place, reliable information, practical tips and the main services offered by our Network to support parents from pregnancy through their child's early years.
A clear, comprehensive resource for parents
This new section was developed in collaboration with nurses and other health care professionals across the Network to address the most frequently asked questions of future parents and new families.
These include:
- information on pregnancy monitoring, including what happens during each trimester;
- advice on preparing for labour and birth;
- information on caring for mother and baby after birth;
- resources on breastfeeding, parenting and infant development;
- advice for partners and accompanying parents;
- links to support programs and useful resources for families.
This section also provides information on where and how to book appointments in the various regions of Vitalité Health Network, making it easier for families to access services throughout New Brunswick.
A journey presented as a timeline
One of the special features of this new page is its simple, intuitive structure. The information is presented in chronological order, like a real timeline that accompanies parents throughout pregnancy and the child's early years.
This approach gives parents easy, real-time access to information tailored to their current stage, while offering a glimpse of what lies ahead in the coming months and years.

At Vitalité Health Network, services for parents and their families are designed to provide reliable, compassionate care focused on their needs.
