Pain clinics
To make an appointment
Patients must be referred by a physician.
The pain clinics care for patients who:
- Are suffering from chronic pain;
- Are taking large amounts of pain medication;
- Have already tried several treatments options.
The care is delivered by a team of nurses, physicians and other professionals.
Care plans are based on patients’ assessments and may vary.
The Network has four pain clinics, located at the:
- Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre;
- Chaleur Regional Hospital (Bathurst);
- Campbellton Regional Hospital;
- Edmundston Regional Hospital.
All the clinics have waiting lists at this time.
