An unplanned pregnancy can happen to any woman, at any age. Help is available if you’re not sure what to do.
There are three options if you become pregnant:
- Make an appointment at an obstetrics clinic to continue your pregnancy;
- Find out more about adoption;
- Decide to terminate the pregnancy and have an abortion.
Contact the Department of Social Development to take the necessary steps and get support:
- Dial 1-866-426-5191;
- Choose option 2 for service in French (option 1 for service in English);
- Choose option 3 for the services (other than financial services) available to pregnant women or new mothers (includes adoption services).
