Temporary reduction of the walk-in blood collection service at Tracadie Hospital.
Vitalité Health Network informs the population of Tracadie and the surrounding areas that the Blood Collection Service (where blood tests are conducted) at the Tracadie Hospital will temporarily be by appointment only on December 23, 24, and 27, 2024. This temporary reduction in service is due to circumstances beyond the Network’s control.
The regular operation of the Blood Collection Service (with or without an appointment) at the Tracadie Hospital will resume on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 8:00 a.m.
During this period, if your doctor determines that you need to have blood tests done and cannot wait for the service to reopen, you will need to visit another hospital in the Acadie-Bathurst area, such as the Enfant-Jésus RHSJ Hospital in Caraquet, the Lamèque Hospital and Community Health Centre, or the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst.
The Vitalité Health Network apologizes for any inconvenience this situation may cause and thanks the public for their cooperation.
