The Centre for Hope and Harmony inaugurates an Art Gallery celebrating Healing, Beauty, and Hope
Vitalité Health Network is pleased to celebrate the inauguration of a permanent art gallery at the Centre for Hope and Harmony in Campbellton. This initiative highlights the power of art in the journey of healing and recovery.
Born from a public call launched by collectionArtNB, this public art project brings together works by three professional artists from New Brunswick. Selected from more than 45 applications, their creations transform the spaces of the addiction treatment center into places of comfort, dialogue and inspiration.

- Luc A. Charette, a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Edmundston, created the immersive installation "You Are Our World";
- Jean Hudson, a metalwork artist from Prince William, offers three evocative sculptures: "Transformation," "The Beacons," and "Journey";
- Gilbert LeBlanc, a metalwork artist from LaPlante, presents "Fruit Tree / Headspace."

"Art allows us to go beyond words. It offers a unique way to express complex emotions, tell profound stories and create connections," says Sébastien Lagacé, Assistant Vice‑President - Mental Health and Addiction Services
"By integrating these works into this centre, we are not only beautifying the space — we are making a strong statement that creativity and culture are essential components of recovery. Art heals, inspires, and reminds us that despite the challenges, there is always room for beauty, hope, and transformation.

The Centre for Hope and Harmony team warmly thanks the artists for their sensitivity and vision, as well as the Government of New Brunswick for its support. This collaboration helps create a human, calming, and healing space.
The project was made possible through the New Brunswick's Public Art Policy, which provides for the allocation of a percentage of the construction budget of government buildings to commissioning original works of art.
Opened in 2023, the Centre for Hope and Harmony offers treatment services for concurrent disorders and a detoxification program in a modern and therapeutic environment.
