Temporary reduction in walk-in service at the blood collection area at Chaleur Regional Hospital
Vitalité Health Network wishes to inform the residents of Bathurst and the surrounding area that the blood collection service at Bathurst Hospital will be temporarily restricted to appointment-only service on Monday, November 24, 2025. This temporary reduction in service is due to circumstances beyond the Network's control.
We hope that normal operations of the blood draw service (by appointment or walk-in) at Bathurst Hospital will resume on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 7:30 a.m. For the latest news, updates, and important information, follow us on social media and visit our official website: https://vitalitenb.ca/en
During this period, if your doctor determines that you need blood tests that cannot wait until the service reopens, you will need to go to another hospital in the Acadie-Bathurst Zone. You can go to the Hôpital de l'Enfant-Jésus RHSJ in Caraquet, the Lamèque Hospital and Community Center, or the Tracadie Hospital.
Vitalité Health Network apologizes for any inconvenience this situation may cause and thanks the public for their cooperation.
