Vitalité Health Network Presents Its Quarterly Report
Vitalité Health Network, Monday, April 27, 2026 – Vitalité Health Network is releasing its latest quarterly report covering the months of January, February and March 2026, now available in a new online format.
Over the past quarter, the Network remained focused on improving access to primary health care
At present, 32 local family health teams are active in the communities we serve. Of these, 24 already provide rapid access, within 48 hours, for minor emergencies, which helps to ease pressure on hospital emergency departments.
By the end of the quarter, 93% of the population served by the Network was attached to a primary care provider, thanks in part to the addition over 42 000 patients. The new year was also marked by the opening of a clinic in Dieppe for nearly 2,000 children aged 0 to 5 without a primary care provider in the Beauséjour Zone.

On the medical recruitment front, 2026 is off to an ideal start with another record-breaking quarter: 17 physicians began practising within the Network between January and March, with only one departure recorded during that period.

Several initiatives have been launched in recent months to improve the patient experience. The Network now offers pregnant patients access to SeamlessMD, a digital platform that supports them throughout pregnancy and after childbirth.
A new online service for X-rays for scheduling X‑ray appointments is now available. Patients in the Northwest Zone can now book their own general radiography (X‑ray) appointments using an online platform.Other highlights of the report include:
- a new partnership with DataNB aimed at improving care through better use of data;
- the creation of a new community intervention team in Greater Moncton, in collaboration with the Codiac RCMP;
- the launch of the Nursing Centre of Excellence, a first in Canada.
